- Assisted numerous global companies with their initial Labour Market Benefit Plans “LMBP” to support applications under the Global Talent Strategy (“GTS”), resulting in the ability to make short- and long-term forecasts for hiring highly skilled foreign workers in the technology and engineering space
- Successfully guided many foreign companies with Canadian entities through audits through the Global Talent Stream of the Labour Market Impact Assessment (“LMIA”) process with Employment and Skills Development Canada (“ESDC”)
- Successfully advised numerous employers of foreign nationals with respect to proactive compliance in the International Mobility Program (“IMP”), including complex situations involving executives and intra-national pay structures
- Advised executives and their families navigating both the temporary and permanent residence streams to successfully settle in Canada
- Acted for numerous Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies with respect to their complete Canadian immigration strategy; including comparative assessments of global policies, and taking into consideration the unique and stratified nature of the foreign worker population in Canada
- Supported and advised many individuals and their employers regarding travel to Canada, and long-term stays, where there were criminal or medical issues present (example DUIs, or sick family members)
- Represented globally seconded employees with respect to the retention of their Permanent Resident Status, sponsorship of family members and applications for Canadian citizenship
- Provided complex strategies for the acquisition of temporary legal status in Canada and transition to permanent residence status for many individuals, including on humanitarian and compassionate grounds
- Advised and supported professionals (and their employers) in their applications for permanent residence under the Express Entry and all Provincial Nominee Programs across Canada, including the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program
